Supporter Experience Coordinator
Salary: £28,860 per annum pro rata (£14.80 per hour)
Contract: Temporary, up to one month (with potential to extend)
Location: Hybrid - 3 days Shooting Star House, Hampton / 2 days WFH
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: End of March, with a short handover period ideally in place.
Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a much-loved children's hospice charity based in Hampton, who are seeking an experienced Supporter Experience Coordinator to join their fundraising team on a temporary basis.
The Role
This is a vital, supporter-facing role within a warm and dedicated fundraising team. You will ensure every supporter receives a timely, compassionate and professional experience, whilst keeping the team's data and administration running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
* First point of contact for all supporter enquiries across phone, email and post, handling all communications with sensitivity and care
* Daily processing and coding of incoming fundraising post onto Raiser's Edge NXT
* Producing personalised thank you communications in line with the team's stewardship programme
* Maximising gift aid opportunities and supporting gift aid administration
* Ensuring supporter preferences are accurately recorded and communications remain GDPR compliant
* General database management including updating records and adding global actions
* Contributing to the planning and on-the-day delivery of supporter open days
What You Need
* Previous experience in a supporter-facing, customer service or administrative role
* Strong database skills, with Raiser's Edge NXT experience highly desirable
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data processing
* A warm, empathetic manner with the ability to communicate sensitively at all times
