Stores/Logistics Operative (Counterbalance & Pick Up Van) Location: Bradford (BD12) Calling all experienced Stores/FLT Drivers based in Bradford! Our client, one of the UK’s leading independent engineering and services businesses specialising in Modular and Offsite Manufacturing, is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Stores/Logistics Operative to join their busy stores and logistics team. This is a hands-on role supporting the movement, storage, and control of materials within a fast‑paced warehouse and manufacturing environment. Working Hours * Monday – Wednesday: 07:00 – 17:00 * Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30 Pay & Progression * Starting Rate (Level 1): £12.60 per hour * Level 2: £12.66 per hour * Level 3: £13.59 per hour Opportunity to progress through the grading structure based on performance and capability. Key Responsibilities * Operating a Counterbalance FLT to load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently * Receiving, checking, and booking in goods * Inspecting deliveries for damage or discrepancies against paperwork * Moving and storing stock within the warehouse and yard areas * Maintaining accurate stock records and paperwork * Keeping stores and work areas clean, tidy, and organised * Liaising with the manufacturing shop floor to ensure timely supply of materials * Occasional use of the company pickup to collect/deliver goods * Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times Essential Requirements * Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-date) * Full clean UK driving licence * Must be aged 25 or over (insurance purposes) * Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics environment * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment What’s on Offer * Competitive hourly rate with clear progression structure * Day shifts only – no weekends * On-site free parking * Temporary on-going with a genuine opportunity to become permanent for the right person * Training and development
