As the business continues to scale, data is becoming increasingly central to how we manage risk, optimise performance, and make strategic decisions across claims, pricing, marketing, and operations.
We are now looking for a Senior Data Analyst on a fixed-term contract to help strengthen our reporting infrastructure, improve visibility across the business, and deliver meaningful commercial insights.
The Role
This is a hands-on senior role focused on improving the way data is structured, reported, and used across the organisation.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across finance, marketing, claims, underwriting, and operations to analyse business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and build clear, automated reporting that supports better decision-making.
A key focus of this role will be reviewing existing reporting, improving data processes, and implementing scalable dashboards and insights that enable leadership teams to monitor performance more effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
* Analyse data from multiple sources including CRM, policy, claims, marketing, and finance systems
* Identify trends in customer behaviour, claims performance, product profitability, and conversion rates
* Provide actionable insights to support commercial decision-making
* Deliver clear, concise analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Reporting & Dashboard Development
* Review and improve existing reporting frameworks across the business
* Design and build interactive dashboards and automated reports
* Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to track key business KPIs
* Ensure consistency and accuracy across all reporting outputs
Commercial Performance Analysis
* Support analysis of marketing performance, channel profitability, and ROI
* Work with finance and operations teams to analyse loss ratios, product performance, and operational metrics
* Assist with forecasting, modelling, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning
Data Infrastructure & Best Practice
* Improve data integrity, validation processes, and reporting standards
* Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes
* Document reporting logic and data definitions
* Support the development of scalable data practices across the organisation
Skills
* Proficiency in data visualisation tools including Tableau and Power BI.
* Strong business analysis capabilities with experience in analysing organisational requirements.
* Extensive knowledge of SQL programming for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
* Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
* Familiarity with programming languages including R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
* Understanding of SDLC methodologies for managing software development projects effectively.
* Ability to design robust database schemas aligned with best practices in database design.
* Excellent analysis skills with a keen eye for detail to identify trends and anomalies within large datasets.
* Project management experience to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Competence in creating comprehensive documentation using Visio or similar tools.
