The nursing home we are recruiting for has recently been purchased by a successful and growing business. They offer the warmest of welcomes to their residents and that warmth is delivered by, and extended to, the nurses and care staff who work there.
Our client is looking to welcome a Registered Nurse to the team on a permanent staff basis.
Your new job
The Registered Nurse’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Positively support the Deputy Manager in providing leadership to the care staff.
* Maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may, from time-to-time, be required.
* Manage the service in accordance with standards agreed.
* Ensure that service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
* Undertake the care planning activities for service users to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent.
* Ensure care plans are developed in collaboration with service users, their families and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multidisciplinary team.
* Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements.
* Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
Requirements
About you
* Good English – written and verbal.
* Registered with relevant body, e.g. NMC.
* Level 1 Registered Nurse Qualification.
* Previous experience of working in similar environments.
* Previous experience of working in similar supervisory roles.
* Experience of working with service users, in particular, those that may have additional support needs.
* Knowledge of rota planning, ensuring adequate staff on duty with the correct skill mix, and fair allocation of off duty/annual leave.

* Hourly pay rate of £23.00
* Permanent staff, full-time position. (Part-time also considered)
* 5 days over a 7-day period, as agreed with the manager.
