Job Title:New Business Development Executive

The Company:
Golley Slater B2B is a key part of the Golley Slater Group.Due to our growth aspirations, we are looking to appoint a new business development Executive to help drive our new business pipeline in our core services offerings of direct marketing (Data Planning & Strategy, Direct Mail, Social Media, Marketing Automation, SMS and Outbound Sales Capability).
Job purpose :-
Plan and manage all new business generation activity for the B2B business and contribute to the growth of the business operation. To achieve and exceed all targets set by the agency for appointments, leads or attendees generated or for data records cleansed so that the Agency can meet current and future client needs
Key responsibilities and accountabilities: -
* Maintain and manage prospect database including telephone sales programme and contact relationship management
* Making outbound telephone calls on behalf of the client to generate appointments, leads or attendees or to cleanse data records.
* Help to identify new business opportunities over and above the prospect database
* Contribute to the networking programme
* Proactively familiarise themselves with the organisation, culture, business lines. Develop and maintain knowledge and skills relevant to the role
* Plan and carry out direct sales and marketing activities (in liaison with GS group new business resource) to agreed, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales. Operate within defined sales parameters in terms of business line and market sector
* Assist with new business mailing programme
* Respond quickly and appropriately to sales enquiries
* Carry out market and competitor research
* Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
* Contribute to the overall development of the company.
Scale and territory:-
* Core product range of main business lines including direct marketing (Telephony, Outbound Sales Capability, Data Planning & Strategy, Direct Mail, Social Media, Marketing Automation.
* Primary Target sectors: Focus areas will be defined based on experience, contacts and geography
* Total personal revenue accountability t.b.a. based on incoming business and future targets

Skills & Experience:-
* Must have an understanding of Call Centres & Outsourcing in general
* Understands the principles of sales and marketing, including market sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling, cost per response, cost per conversion, etc.
* Appreciates need for consistency within company's branding and marketing mix
* Must be professionally credible and able to build relationships effectively
* Good industry awareness and understanding of procurement processes and business strategies
