Hall Farm Visitor Centre, Norfolk Permanent, Part Time, 24 hours per week £15,986 per annum We are looking for a Visitor Centre Officer to oversee the daily running of our Visitor Centre at Hall Farm which is located in Snetterton, Norfolk. The main aim of the role is to ensure that all visitors have an enjoyable and informative experience, whilst assisting the Senior Centre Promotions Officer and Centre Manager with the organisation of a variety of events. This role offers 24 hours per week every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Key Responsibilities: Welcome visitors and provide engaging guided tours Support event planning and coordination, including facility bookings and volunteer scheduling Maintain accurate promotional materials and ensure merchandise is well-presented and stocked Encourage visitor engagement through memberships and data collection Assist with café setup, cashing up, and end-of-day procedures Help recruit, train and support volunteers Carry out administrative tasks including banking, invoice processing and timesheet submission About you: We’re looking for someone with strong customer service experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the confidence to approach and engage with visitors at all levels. You’ll be highly organised, self-motivated, adaptable and have a professional, approachable manner. You’ll be able to work both independently and as part of a team as well as being able to ‘think on your feet’. Being trustworthy, reliable and having an interest in the charity’s aims are essential.
