Assistant Project Manager - (Energy and Power) Jacobs' Energy & Power division is all about driving the global transition to cleaner, smarter, more resilient energy systems. The team works across the full spectrum of power generation and energy infrastructure - from renewables like offshore wind, solar and emerging hydrogen technologies, through to nuclear new build, SMRs, decommissioning, grid modernisation, and complex power systems engineering. In this role, you'll help drive the delivery of a diverse range of energy and power infrastructure projects - from renewable energy installations and transmission upgrades to battery energy storage systems (BESS) and power-plant programmes. Working closely with experienced Project Managers, multidisciplinary engineering teams and our Clients, you'll be contributing to projects that create real, long-term impact across the energy landscape. When you join us - you'll be involved throughout every stage of project delivery, supporting the full lifecycle of project planning and helping to shape activities, schedules, deliverables and resource requirements. Alongside this, you'll play a key role in maintaining project control across initiation, execution, monitoring and closeout, ensuring everything progresses smoothly, efficiently and transparently. As part of your responsibilities, you'll assist in developing and tracking project budgets and financials, including change orders, helping the team deliver on time and within budget. You'll also support the identification, monitoring and mitigation of project risks, strengthening governance and contributing to safe and predictable project outcomes. Collaboration will be central to your work as you coordinate project tasks, team assignments and deliverables across cross-functional engineering and design teams, ensuring high-quality and integrated project outputs. Throughout each project, you'll also maintain direct engagement with Clients and stakeholders, supporting clear and consistent communication around goals, expectations and progress. * Batchelors degree in engineering or related technical discipline * Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, and ability to track progress and analyse project data * Project management or project coordination experience, preferably within the Energy or Infrastructure sector. * Proven stakeholder management skills Interested?
