Hays Education are urgently looking for a Secondary School MFL Teacher to start in early June.
I am currently looking for a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to work at a Secondary school less than 30 minutes from Bristol City Centre
MFL Teacher

3. Teaching French and/or Spanish at KS3 and KS4
4. Bristol-based Secondary School
You must have relevant experience working with 11 -16-year-olds within the last 2 years and we must be able to obtain relevant references for this time. You should have a professional manner and a flexible attitude to working and timetable changes. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic, engaging and passionate about working with young people. Strong behaviour management and the ability to implement schools’ behaviour polices is also essential. To be successful, you will be a Qualified Teacher (ECT's wee to apply) and have recent experience of teaching Modern Foreign Languages (French and/or Spanish) across Key Stage 3 and 4.
You can typically expect the following responsibilities for this role:
5. Ensuring that the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum are met.
6. Delivering engaging and creative MFL lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
7. Supporting MFL classes in the absence of the timetabled staff/teacher.
8. To have a primary focus on maintaining good order and ensuring students are on task so that learning can take place.
Requirements:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's wee to apply.
10. Bachelor's degree in MFL or related field.
11. Recent experience teaching French and/or Spanish at secondary school level.
12. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.

The role is being advertised on a temporary basis but with the potential for this to be a long-term placement for the right candidate. You will have your own timetable and deliver improvements and results for your own classes. You will be paid apetitive daily wage, based on your experience and the responsibilities of this assignment, plus you will accrue holiday pay with the option to take it at any point of the year.
