Interim Director of Group Reporting
Location: South West (Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site)
Contract: 3-6 Months | Inside IR35
Day Rate: Competitive, based on experience
The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to step into a pivotal interim leadership role during a period of transition. As Director of Group Reporting, you will provide strategic oversight across financial planning, reporting, and regulatory finance, ensuring continuity and clarity in decision-making at the highest levels.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can quickly establish credibility, drive performance, and deliver insight across multiple specialist teams.
Key Areas of Responsibility
* Lead the delivery of accurate, timely financial reporting to support monthly cycles, forecasting, and budgeting
* Oversee regulatory finance activities, ensuring compliance and alignment with broader business objectives
* Develop and maintain strategic financial modelling to support long-term planning and executive decision-making
* Collaborate with Group Financial Control to ensure consistent application of accounting policies
* Support audit processes and uphold high standards of financial governance
* Provide leadership across specialist finance teams, promoting development, accountability, and collaboration
What We're Looking For
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Extensive experience in senior finance roles within complex organisations
* Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and regulatory reporting
* Proven ability to influence executive-level decision-making
* Available at short notice and comfortable working in a hybrid environment
* Committed to data integrity and delivering a unified financial narrative
