Based in our Head Office in Chipping Sodbury, you will assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive transport/ fleet strategy, while considering costs and compliance through all stages
This role would suit someone who loves building relationships with internal and external customers and is passionate about delivering an exceptional service.

The Fleet Supervisor Role:
• Organisation is key - coordinating and managing all fleet and transport activities within the business
• Passionate about your role, you stay updated on industry regulations, transportation laws, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance within operations.
• Inquisitive, you identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality through continuous analysis of transportation expenses and implementation of efficient practices.
• Assisting in establishing KPIs for the transportation department, tracking metrics
• Collaboration and communication within the role are imperative, as you liaise with clients, drivers, and the Ian Williams management team effectively.
• Taking ownership in assisting in incident report investigations
• Managing internal administration with insurance claims
• People management – as the role evolves, you will invest in a team, leading by example and nurturing their development
What will you bring as a Fleet Supervisor?:
• Proven experience in fleet management services, including cars and van stock. We do not require you to have industry related experience
• Strong organisational and communications skills
• Competent in adapting to various IT systems, including Microsoft
• Demonstrable experience in reviewing and analysing relevant data to support making informed decisions
• Proven knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
• People leadership experience, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
