Solicitor – Casualty (Defendant Insurance) - Belfast | Hybrid Working | NQ – 2 PQE
Conekt Legal is currently partnering with a well-established and growing defendant insurance practice to recruit a solicitor into their growing casualty practice in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to gain hands-on experience managing a varied caseload of Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims, while developing within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
This role would suit solicitors from NQ to 2 years PQE with previous litigation experience.

The Role
* Manage a caseload of litigated EL/PL matters within the County Court
* Draft pleadings, witness statements and legal documents
* Liaise with insurers, insured parties and third parties
* Instruct counsel and attend hearings, mediations and settlement discussions
* Conduct witness interviews and assist with case strategy
* Work closely with colleagues to deliver strong outcomes for clients
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (NQ – 2 PQE)
* Experience in litigation (defendant insurance experience beneficial but not essential)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Confident, proactive and keen to develop
