Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of the workplace environment. The position is responsible for maintaining high standards of housekeeping across all site locations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and policies, and maintaining stock and distribution of office stationery and day to day management of employee requirements as applicable.
Key Responsibilities (Duties In Scope):.
* Daily floorwalking of all areas within demise for the following purposes:
* Reporting of broken equipment;
* Identifying hazards;
* Check fire exit routes are clear;
* Removal of rubbish and combustible material build up;
* Check meeting rooms and training rooms and ensure they have appropriate materials;
* Check kitchen areas to ensure everything is working, all consumables are in place.
* Check toilets are clean, flushing and have all consumables in place;
* Check temperature in Wipro demise.
* Check noticeboards have corrected and up to date information.
* Reporting issues with any of the above to relevant department.
* Check first aid room is available and tidy. Support senior first aider with first aid room and ordering.
* Liaise with fire wardens and assist with arranging training and updates via Aviva.
* Liaise with facilities teams if they require access to our demise.
* Supporting setting up business and corporate events as and when required.
* Assist colleagues with any DSE/PEEP needs and signposting to support via H&S teams (colleague is not a DSE assessor)
* Check stationery cupboards are tidy and reorder supplies.
* Check printer paper is available and reorder supplies.
* Meet regularly (weekly on Fridays at 10am) with management to share updates and receive information relating to building services.
* Supply replacement plastic pass holder and lanyards.
* Escorting visitors related to Premises (eg, Health & Safety trainers, Posture etc).
* Key management Storeroom 2, large cupboard on floor 5, first aid room (door is left unlocked), master key for red lockers.
* Oversee Car park list
* Maintaining and updating waiting list when colleagues leave.
* Advising of replacement names for car parking spaces.
* Updating HR with replacement names.
* Quarterly checks of the pass access list from Security to confirm colleagues are still employed (potentially needs to be done via HR)
* Helpdesk services - being a point of contact for facilities issues and reporting onwards.
Required Qualifications
* Ideally would have Mental health and First Aid certification
* Completed Fire warden certification
* Must have IOSH Awareness certification
* Fluent in MS office
* Good communication skills
* Extending support to other local sites as and when required.
* Candidates need to be flexible with their working hours as they will be assisting employees in a contact centre environment.
