This is a temporary Regional Bank Chef opportunity to support Barchester Healthcare's care homes in the Ashington and Bedlington areas. The role offers a better work-life balance with flexible hours and shifts, working days only, and the chance to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the long hours. As a Regional Bank Chef, you will have full autonomy in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus, while also taking ownership of your kitchen and ongoing team development. The role requires experience in working with fresh seasonal food, a good understanding of nutrition, and knowledge of HACCP and COSHH. If new to care, you will receive training and development on techniques such as the IDDSI framework for modified diets.
