Our Agricultural Engineering team, with industry expertise, supports the development of students’ technical knowledge and practical skills with the maintenance of agricultural machinery.
About the role
Advanced Technical Trainers (ATTs) are key to inspiring and developing the next‑generation of engineers working in partnership with prominent national and local employers.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality apprenticeship training aligned with industry and accreditation standards.
* Inspire and mentor learners through engaging theory, practical sessions, and assessments.
* Conduct vocational assessments on‑site and off‑site across national programmes.
* Collaborate across the Engineering department to share expertise and support delivery.
* Provide ongoing guidance to apprentices and employer partners.
* Uphold health, safety, compliance, and safeguarding in all activities.
The successful candidate will
* Have a minimum Level 3 qualification within an engineering‑related vocational area (or be willing to work towards one).
* Have Level 2 Maths & English qualifications.
* Have experience working as an engineer focusing on equipment service, maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery.
* Have excellent people skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Be willing to participate in training to improve and further your skills.
