Futures recruitment are working with a well known manufacturing business in the West Yorkshire region who are looking to strengthen their finance team. As The Finance Coordinator you will play a role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the organization. This position supports the finance department with day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, and administrative support to maintain accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes. Key Responsibilities Process and record invoices, expense claims, and credit card transactions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable. Prepare payment runs and assist with bank reconciliations. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance reports. Compile and analyse financial data for management reporting. Support internal and external audits with required documentation. Coordinate payroll inputs and liaise with HR to ensure accurate employee payments. Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements (e.g., VAT, PAYE, pensions). Maintain confidentiality and data integrity in all financial matters. Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems. Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and controls. Liaise with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information flow. Essential Proven experience in a finance or accounting support role. Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) and Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
