Consultant Radiologist with interest in Neuroradiology
We are looking to recruit a Consultant Radiologist with specialist interest in neuroradiology to work at both Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford Teaching Hospitals as a joint appointment post.

Main duties of the job
Duties will be split between Airedale General Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary on an approximately 50/50 basis.
Roles will include reporting of diagnostic radiology, including of Plain Film, US, CT and MRI with a sub-specialty interest in neuroradiology.
The post includes the roles of neuroradiology lead and thrombectomy/stroke lead for both sites.
Experience in ultrasound intervention and in cardiac imaging are desirable
Support for General Radiology is required to support the on call and acute work at Airedale General Hospital.
We have successfully implemented a Tele-Radiology on-call service for CT scans from 1900 hours till 0800 hours Monday to Friday and from 1730 hours till 0800 hours on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays

Person Specification
Qualifications
* On GMC's Specialist Register or be no more than six months from receiving CCT at interview date
* FRCR or equivalent higher qualification from a different College or from overseas.
* Fellowship.
* Advanced or further degrees.
* Medical or post-graduate prizes
Experience
* Experience in General Radiology
* Subspecialty training and experience in neuroradiology post FRCR 2B
* Confident with Information Technology.
* Ability to survey and perform critical literature appraisal
* Experience in ultrasound intervention
* Knowledge of a wide range of educational methods.
* Basic knowledge of research methods including Scientific study design, Data Evaluation, Statistics, Publication Preparation.
* Publications in referred journals.
Training
* In General Radiology (CT, MR, US, Plain Films, Fluoroscopy) with appropriate sub-specialist (neuroradiology) training.
* Able to provide an on-call service.
* To have understanding of all elements and commitment to the principals of clinical governance and clinical audit.
* Teaching experience.
