Celeros Flow Technology, LLC Manufacturing Engineer

The role involves planning and creating systematic processes for manufacturing components based on customer requirements and standard times, ensuring efficient methods and accurate cost estimates. As part of the operational team, responsibilities include evaluating machinery, tooling, and SOP details to support machine shop output and efficiencies. The candidate will drive improvement of manufacturing methods and increase productivity through continuous improvement projects, including CNC programming (new and updated programs), support for CNC machines and operators, and development of jigs and fixtures.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities

* Creation of new and modification of CNC programs using Siemens / Mazak / Heidenhain program language.
* Preparing/updating manufacturing methods and documentation, tooling, and setup details required for product manufacture.
* Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Creating and maintaining robust lean manufacturing processes (CNC and manual) that meet product and process quality, are delivered on time, and support business results.
* Daily/weekly support for manufacturing processes and related activities, program creation, resolution of issues, and concerns; supporting other manufacturing disciplines.
* Providing ongoing support to the machine shop to ensure economic manufacturing meets quality standards.
* Working with suppliers on manufacturing-related matters.
* Facilitating and participating in continuous improvement activities; analyzing production processes and applying problem‑solving methodology to identify improvement areas.
* Seeking new ways to improve production efficiency and cost effectiveness.
* Creating process specifications and material purchase specifications.
* Leading and controlling manufacture consumables including tooling, lubrication, etc.
* Developing processes for rectification or additional work of assemblies and parts (including BOMAS finished parts) in response to production changes.
* Supporting non‑conformance issues and implementing improvements.
* Assisting with cost of poor quality KPIs and actions.
* Providing ongoing support and training to colleagues related to manufacturing.
* Being available for further training when required.
* Working with managers and cell leaders to implement company policies and goals.
* Ensuring health, safety and environmental guidelines are followed.


Education and Experience

* HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering with extensive proven track record in a similar role.
* Understanding and experience with lean manufacturing techniques and detailed knowledge of CNC and manual machining processes in milling and turning.
* Team player with high energy and commitment to leading and implementing change.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience with SAP or other MRP systems; Excel and Word beneficial.


You Must Have Valid Right To Work In The UK And Be Able To Obtain Security Clearance To Apply For This Role.

Physical Demands
