Apprentice / Trainee Quantity Surveyor / Milton Keynes / £25,000 - £28,500 DOE Start Your Career in Quantity Surveying with a Leading Construction Business Russell Taylor Group is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and fast-growing specialist contractor based in Milton Keynes. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Apprentice / Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently completing a Level 3 qualification, looking to step into the industry and work toward a Level 4 or higher qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. The Role : Assist with cost planning, valuations and commercial reporting Support contract administration (JCT and NEC) Contribute to variation pricing, cost tracking and procurement Attend project and client meetings to gain real commercial experience Collaborate with the site and procurement teams to ensure accurate reporting Learn to read technical drawings and support final accounts What We're Looking For: Currently completing Level 3 qualification, with plans to progress to a Level 4 & QS or Commercial Management Course Ideally 1 year of construction industry experience (preferred but not essential) Excellent attention to detail and great communication skills Confident with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, etc) A motivated, committed and team-oriented attitude What's On Offer: Salary of £25,000 to £28,500 dependant on experience 40 hour working week with a study pathway supported 22 days holiday bank holidays Workplace pension scheme Long-term career development with hands on mentoring For more information or if wish to discuss this role further, please contact Steve at Russell Taylor Group on 02083272013 or APPLY NOW by submitting your CV.
