Durham Council is currently seeking an experienced Team Manager to join their First Contact / MASH Team.
The team acts as the first point of contact for new enquiries relating to children, young people and their families in Durham. The MASH supports local safeguarding partners to share information and work collaboratively to ensure timely and effective responses.
As a Team Manager, you will play a critical role in:
Listening and responding to staff and partners from a range of professional backgrounds
Interpreting information, data and intelligence to inform decisions
Communicating effectively and providing feedback to stakeholders
Making informed, evidence-based decisions
Creating a positive and collaborative environment for MASH practitioners and partners
Maintaining pace in a fast-moving, multi-agency setting
Ensuring adherence to strict timescalesTo succeed in this role, you must be confident in identifying and responding to risk, and a skilled decision-maker with strong child protection experience.
Pay rate: £37.66 per hour
Essential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
Social Work England Registration
