About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a Safeguarding Team in Bracknell. This role focuses on frontline safeguarding work, supporting children and families where there are concerns around safety and wellbeing.
You will be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality interventions and ensuring children are protected and supported through effective assessment and planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload focused on safeguarding and child protection
* Undertake risk assessments and develop robust care and safety plans
* Work in partnership with multi‑agency professionals to safeguard children
* Attend and contribute to child protection conferences and reviews
* Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records
* Ensure the child’s voice is central to all decision‑making
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with strong safeguarding experience
* Ability to manage complex child protection cases
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Must live within a commutable distance of Bracknell for emergency travel
* Willingness to work office‑based 3–4 days per week
