Principal Electronics Engineer Location: West London An exciting new opportunity has opened for a Principal Electronics Engineer to join a well-established semiconductor technology company in West London. As Principal Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of high-performance electronic systems, working across the full product lifecycle from concept through to production. The role of Principal Electronics Engineer will involve leading complex hardware design activities, contributing to architecture decisions, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams. What you’ll do: Lead the design and development of complex analogue and digital electronic systems. Define hardware architecture and support projects from concept through to production. Oversee schematic design, PCB development, and component selection. Support prototype bring-up, testing, and debugging in the laboratory. Collaborate with embedded software, FPGA, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure successful system integration. Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers within the team. What we’re looking for: A degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Strong experience in analogue and digital circuit design and PCB development. Experience working on complex hardware systems within a semiconductor or high-technology environment. Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to contribute at both a technical and architectural level.
