We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Senior Counsellor/Supervisor to join our team within a thriving counselling and emotional support service, run by a group of passionate and hardworking staff and supported by a large team of volunteer counsellors and student counsellors. This varied and interesting role will involve working across the service with clients of all ages, both adult and children, dealing with both bereavement and life-limiting illness and providing individual and group supervision for student counsellors.
As the successful applicant, it is essential that you have:
* Experience of working with both adult clients and children and young people,
* Have been qualified for at least 4-years,
* minimum of a Diploma in Person-Centered Humanistic Counselling & Psychotherapy
* A recognised qualification in Counselling Supervision
Ideally you will be Accredited or working towards Accreditation and have experience of working within the fields of bereavement and life-limiting illness, with some experience in delivering training.
Our counselling service is a Centre of Excellence and works from a trauma-informed perspective. We are looking for someone with the skills and resources to work in a busy environment, with a ‘can do’ attitude, who can demonstrate the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
