Who You Are We are looking for someone to be part of the council's homeless service, providing an efficient, high-quality advice and assessment service for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. This is an office-based role in Peggs Lane, Hertford. You should be a good communicator with strong customer service skills, and be curious, well-organised, and possess excellent administrative skills. Training will be provided. What the Job Involves Function as a triage officer, providing housing advice and booking homeless appointments for Housing Options Officers. Offer housing advice and assistance to customers in line with current legislation and Council policy. Undertake additional duties, such as assisting clients with applications to the Housing Register, Rent Deposit Scheme, and other referrals. Support caseworkers in their day-to-day work with customers.
