Behaviour Mentor Basildon £450 - £500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) ASAP Are you a confident individual who is passionate about supporting disadvantaged learners with behavioural needs? We are seeking proactive and engaging behaviour mentors who can support learners who struggle with traditional school settings and benefit from 1-1 support. The School and Role: We are working with Secondary Schools in Basildon who are seeking enthusiastic and resilient individuals who can work as Behaviour Mentors and Teaching Assistants. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to support students 1 to 1 or in small groups, supporting young people who need additional support with their learning. Working in a secondary school as a Behaviour Mentor you will have access to excellent resources and mentorship from qualified teachers and the opportunity to gain paid experience before becoming a fully qualified teacher. A rewarding role for a graduate who wants to give back to students in the local Essex community in Secondary schools in Basildon. Previous tutoring or mentoring experience is desirable, although not necessary. A passion for working with students of all abilities and with different learning needs is integral to becoming a Behaviour Mentor with Vision for Education.
