We are looking for someone to join our amazing supported living team based in Northallerton on a part-time, permanent basis, working 20 and 30 hours per week on waking night shifts. Shifts will include Monday to Friday, weekends, and bank holidays.

Supporting someone with their daily life is not a 9-5 job. You will need to work across various days and shift patterns, including some sleep-in shifts. We understand that your personal time is important, so your rota is prepared well in advance. Got a request or a special occasion? Your manager will try to accommodate it.

About Our Service
We support three active gentlemen aged between 60-68 who have learning disabilities and are great friends. They live independent, fun, and active lifestyles. The home is busy, with activities like days out, train spotting, socialising, and seeing friends.
What does a Support Worker do?
* Supporting people to live independently, including budgeting, paying bills, housework, organising appointments, and cooking healthy meals.
* Building excellent communication and relationships to support understanding of the world around them and promote positive relationships.
* Supporting community and social inclusion by helping individuals access local community events and activities to promote life skills and individuality.
* Providing personal care, including helping with medication, bathing, showering, and bathroom use. Not all roles involve high levels of personal care.
* All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
