Role Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group behavioural support within classrooms and across the school
*
Assist students in regulating emotions and engaging with learning
*
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, acting as a positive role model
*
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and senior leaders to implement personalised strategies
*
Use de-escalation and restorative practices to manage challenging behaviour calmly and safely
*
Help maintain a consistent, nurturing environment where every student feels valued and supported
About You:
*
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND or behavioural needs (school-based, care, youth work, or similar)
*
Calm, resilient, and empathetic with strong interpersonal skills
*
Confidence in managing behaviour positively and respectfully
*
Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
*
A team player with a proactive, flexible attitude
*
A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
