Role & Responsibilities:
Ownership of on-site health and safety activity, including inspections, audits, compliance monitoring, and reporting
Advise management on safety matters and help implement policy across the site
Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring preventative measures are in place
Lead pest inspections, fire audits, alarm testing, and emergency evacuation drills
Maintain meticulous H&S records including training, events, and drills
Deliver monthly reports and contribute to daily operational meetings
Champion best practice and coach others on staying compliant and safe
Get stuck into project work and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a Health & Safety role
Background in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar environment preferred
Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice
A confident communicator who can challenge and support in equal measure
Practical, hands-on attitude
Able to lead by example and work closely with operational teams
