We are currently working on behalf of a leading client within the shipping industry looking to bring on board a Customer Service Coordinator, into their Felixstowe office. Our client pride’s themselves on delivering the highest level of customer service to all their customers and are now looking to take on an experienced professional to help deliver this service.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Similar experience gained within the Shipping & Logistics Industry
* A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and maintaining effective business relationships to exceed customer expectations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
* A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Highly motivated, with drive and determination
The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with customers and clients regarding bookings, and for ensuring that the details of such are captured accurately and in a timely fashion. You will be building strong, corporate working relationships with key clients, whilst ensuring professional and transparent communication at all times.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Liaising with existing and potential customers
* Answering customer queries via telephone or email
* Liaising with relevant operations to ensure the clients’ requirements can be met
* Creating and processing orders from bookings received.
* Balancing the needs of both the customer and the client to ensure a high level of service is provided to the client within both operational and financial constraints.
* Handling any customer query or operational problem
* Compiling, maintaining, and transmitting records or KPI’s for customers upon request
* Day-to-day liaison with customers, terminals, suppliers, and colleagues internally and across the network
* To undertake any other tasks as and when required, and within your skill and ability
