A prestigious housing developer based in the West Midlands is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a new site in Coventry. The successful candidate will be offered a salary of up to £53,000 plus a competitive package.
Job Duties:
* Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site
* Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople
* Manage and monitor site progress
* Resolve any issues that may arise on site
* Assist in quality control and compliance with building regulations
* Communicate effectively with the Site Manager, contractors, and suppliers
Required Qualifications:
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
* First Aid certification
* Valid Driving Licence
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry
* Knowledge of timber frame house building techniques
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience working for a housing developer
* Additional health and safety certifications
Working Conditions:
The Assistant Site Manager will work on-site in Coventry, West Midlands.
