Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our Radstock based client who are looking for a Maintenance Assistant on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
In this key role within the business, you will be responsible for ensuring effective maintenance across the business.
Key Responsibilities :
* Carrying out repairs, aiming for first-time fix
* Diagnosing faults, working to budget
* Obtaining quotes from subcontractors and supervising them working on minor installation works
* Preventative maintenance
* Facilities support
What you will need to succeed:
* Proven trade background in plumbing, carpentry or general repairs
* Experience of working within a similar role, ideally within an educational setting
* H&S knowledge
* Effective communication skills
