Next Level Camps is dedicated to developing young athletes' skills, teamwork, and love for sport in a safe, fun and positive environment.
We are seeking a passionate, energetic and professional coach to lead our Girls Football Camp for this October Half Term.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate players of all ages. This role is essential in shaping the athletic and personal growth of our campers.
As the Coach and Camp Leader, you will instruct and mentor young athletes, helping them improve their skills, building confidence, and develop a love for the sport. You will also foster a safe, supportive and engaging environment for campers of all abilities. You will also be responsible for the management of staff and liaising with parents.
Duties
* Deliver the 2-day programme, adapting where necessary.
* Implementing drills, games and activities to improve skills and teamwork.
* Provide constructive feedback, encouragement, and positive reinforcement.
* Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
* Assist with camp organisation and schedules.
* Serve as a positive role model and mentor.
* Analyse player performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
* Foster a positive team environment that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and camaraderie among players.
* Organise and oversee matches, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations while promoting fair play.
* Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
* Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques, strategies, and developments in football to continuously improve the programme.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football, with a strong understanding of game tactics and player development.
* Teaching experience is advantageous, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with players of varying ages.
* Strong leadership qualities, demonstrating the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of individuals.
* A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
* Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Join us in making a difference in our players' lives through sport
