Overview
Procurement Systems Specialist required on a temporary 6 month contract based in Ormskirk for a global leading manufacturing business. The role will be part of a Procurement 'Centre of Excellence' team supporting a Global Procurement Category and Regional team, working with cross‑functional teams on projects and performing analysis tasks for the Indirect Critical Category.
Responsibilities
* Design and document standard processes for the use of procurement systems.
* Implement standard procurement systems across all areas of procurement.
* Develop standardized systems training for all procurement staff.
* Support and manage digital transformation projects from evaluation through to implementation.
* Assist procurement users in the use of systems.
* Measure performance against compliance targets set in objectives.
* Maintain key data in procurement systems.
* Travel overseas as required.
Qualifications
* Experience working with systems and digital applications; experience with SAP and Ariba is advantageous.
* Experience of change management.
* Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication and influencing skills.
* Excellent analytical skills and process oriented.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong awareness of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG).
