The Role
We are seeking a culturally curious and creatively sharp Creative Editor to craft and execute brand and campaign content across digital and social platforms. This role focuses on storytelling and cultural alignment, not on scientific or educational content, which is handled by our internal Nutrition & Innovation team. Your goal will be to tell compelling brand stories, build emotive narratives, and identify cultural conversations relevant to Ancient + Brave.
You will act as both storyteller and tastemaker, creating content that resonates deeply and positions our brand as a relevant voice within and beyond the wellness space.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Brand, your responsibilities will include:
Cultural Insight & Editorial Direction
* Research and recommend cultural trends, social movements, and zeitgeist moments for brand engagement beyond wellness.
* Identify opportunities for brand commentary and campaign tie-ins with current cultural conversations.
* Provide editorial perspectives on emerging trends, aesthetic shifts, and evolving audience language.
* Collaborate with social, PR, events, partnership, and influencer teams to participate in relevant conversations at the right time.
Influencer, Talent & Collaborator Alignment
* Brief creators and ambassadors on tone, message, and visual direction.
* Map out brand ambassadors and thought leaders aligned with our values and audience.
* Shape how we collaborate with influencers and creators for cohesive storytelling.
* Guide editorial and conceptual direction for partnerships, events, and activations.
Creative Direction & Collaboration
* Work with design, photography, and video teams to ensure content is storytelling-led and integrated.
* Contribute to campaign ideation with an editorial and cultural perspective.
Tools, Guidelines & Frameworks
* Develop and update our brand tone of voice guide with clear examples.
* Create a copy playbook to ensure consistency across regions and partners.
* Collaborate with content creators to support campaign rollout.
Who You Are
* Experienced in a creative editorial role within wellness, beauty, lifestyle, or fashion.
* Deep cultural curiosity with a track record of identifying trends early.
* Exceptional writing skills with a compelling, emotionally intelligent voice.
* Proven ability to translate brand strategy into engaging storytelling.
* Strong understanding of digital channels and content tailoring for each platform.
* Comfortable working with subject matter experts and shaping brand/lifestyle narratives.

* Application Review: Initial screening of your CV/application.
* Initial Phone Call: Brief chat with Ellie, our Talent Partner, about your experience and values.
* Video Interview: Virtual interview with the hiring manager, including competency questions and Q&A.
* Interview Task: Prepare a task sent via email to demonstrate your skills, discussed during the in-person interview.
* In-Person Interview: Final stage at our Uckfield office, presenting your task and answering questions.
Please Note:
* This is a full-time role based at our Uckfield offices; applicants should be within reasonable commute. After probation, one day remote work per week is possible.
* We are not currently seeking recruitment support.
