SEMH/SEN Teaching Assistant – Enfield | Psychology Degree or SEMH Experience Essential
Location: Enfield, London
Position: Full-time (08:30am - 16:00pm)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £89 - £110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students in Enfield. This role is ideal for graduates with a Psychology degree or individuals with previous SEMH experience who are looking to develop their careers in educational therapy, mental health, support work, or teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing support to class teachers in the classroom
* Assisting children with SEND and SEMH needs in 1:1 and small group settings
* Supporting students across KS1 – KS5, both in and out of lessons
* Monitoring interventions and recording student progress
* Setting individual learning and development targets
Requirements:
* A degree in Psychology or proven experience working with SEMH students (essential)
* Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service
* Right to work in the UK
