3rd Line IT Support Engineer
Our client is seeking a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join their team and play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly and delivering on industry projects such as network refresh, ERP implementation, on‑premise to cloud transformation, and the integration of a new ticketing system.
Location: Maidstone, Kent. Salary range £40,000 to £45,000, plus up to 5% bonus potential.
Responsibilities
* Provide support across hardware, software, phones, mobiles, and specialist systems.
* Manage helpdesk enquiries, escalating where needed and seeing issues through to resolution.
* Support servers (Windows 2012/2016), Exchange 365, backups (Veeam), and network infrastructure.
* Set up new sites, accounts, and mobile devices.
* Maintain IT documentation and ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT support or service function, with experience in a 3rd Line Support position.
* ERP management capabilities (ideally COINS or Netsuite).
* Technical expertise in Server Maintenance (2012‑2016), Backups (Veeam), and Network Infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments (Office, SharePoint, AD, Exchange).
* Confident, customer‑focused problem solver with excellent communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
Two‑stage interview process: 30‑minute telephone interview followed by a face‑to‑face meeting.
