Finance Business Analyst
6-Month Contract | Hybrid (3 Days in London) | Inside IR35 | Top Insurance Company
Are you ready to lead transformative finance change initiatives for one of the UK’s leading insurance firms? We’re looking for a Finance Business Analyst who can own and deliver complex programmes end-to-end, driving innovation and compliance across critical finance systems.
What You’ll Do
* Lead the charge on finance change programmes from inception to delivery.
* Manage cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, UAT Managers, and Solution Architects.
* Partner with senior stakeholders (CFO Office, Finance Ops, Actuarial) to align priorities and deliver impactful outcomes.
* Ensure regulatory and audit compliance throughout the change lifecycle.
* Conduct as-is/to-be process mapping and gap analysis for systems like Oracle ERP, BMS, and FDP.
* Define and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Oversee UAT planning and execution, including defect triage and resolution.
* Collaborate with data governance, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure solution integrity.
* Facilitate workshops and SME interviews to validate requirements and drive clarity.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience delivering finance transformation programmes.
* Experience working at a General Insurance company
* Understanding of accountancy eg. credit and debit
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills at senior levels.
* Expertise in finance systems (Oracle ERP, BMS, FDP).
* Ability to multitask with multiple projects at once
* Solid understanding of regulatory and audit requirements.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
