Overview
Vascular Department / Aneurysm Screening – Abdomen Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Secretary – Band 3 – Full Time (36 hours per week) – RAIGMORE HOSPITAL, INVERNESS.
Responsibilities
* Provide secretarial support for the Vascular Department and Aneurysm Screening Service.
* Manage day‑to‑day administrative tasks, ensuring accurate record keeping and timely communication.
* Use Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare reports, correspondence and scheduling.
* Maintain confidentiality of patient and departmental information.
* Support team under pressure, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
* Secretarial and administrative experience.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure.
* Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential.
Additional Information
* Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis.
