Job Responsibility:

Grade UE07: £39,347- £46,974 per annum

School of Chemistry / College of Science and Engineering

Full time: 35 hours per week

Open-Ended: Permanent

We are looking for a dynamic, effective, and motivated Teaching Office Manager to lead the planning, management, and oversight of all teaching activities in the School of Chemistry.

The Opportunity:

As our colleague, you will lead, support, and motivate our teaching office team to maintain and develop an excellent service for students and academic colleagues in the administration of all teaching activities. You will be a leader and key player in building strong relationships with teaching staff, technical experts, students, and administrators.

You will share, promote, and implement our strategic vision for teaching and learning in Chemistry and support the ambitions of future Chemistry curricula via robust procedures and processes.

This role represents a key senior position within the Student Experience function in the School of Chemistry.

* You are adept at leading, supporting, and motivating a team to provide excellent service provision.
* You are experienced in handling complex data sets with attention to detail and can analyse and report on trends with strong analytical and communication skills.
* You are a strong negotiator, working with colleagues with differing priorities to achieve consensus and engagement with key strategic goals.
* You are skilled at working with senior leaders to advise, implement, and deliver a strategic vision.
