In this role, you will provide specialist technical support for complex network security and cyber security deployments across our UK secure contracts. What You’ll be Doing:
* Provide leadership on Agile / ITIL processes and be a decision maker within the security team; advising those working directly with you on best practices and supporting from a 3rd Line perspective.
* Develop peers and colleagues through mentoring and leadership, providing trustworthy honest feedback.
* Produce and support policies, functions, and configuration builds to enable implementation of customer projects.
* Complete and own integration testing on new products and services, producing all relevant supporting documentation.
* Ensure full awareness of the need to safeguard sensitive customer information, maintaining BT’s reputation as a trustworthy organization.
* Experience in agile, lean, evidence-based, and human-centered design frameworks.
* Able to simplify complex ideas and communicate them clearly.
* Design user journeys, service maps, documentation, user flows, and wireframes.
* Motivated team player capable of working collaboratively to build features impacting customers.
* Ownership of production platforms and products from inception to continuous improvement.
What we'd like to see on your CV:
* PCNSE / CCNP or equivalent professional certification.
* Experience in network automation, prototyping, testing solutions, and iterative development.
* Experience as a senior engineer or technical lead interfacing with stakeholders.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise networks and related technologies.
