Our client is seeking a Young Persons Advocate to join their team in Birmingham. This role focuses on providing professional advocacy support to young people, strengthening their voices, championing their rights, and promoting positive life changes for those who may be marginalised or vulnerable.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct advocacy support to young people aged 13–18
Work closely with service users and key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
Support the development of Transitional Advocacy services in Birmingham and Walsall
Report to the Service Manager while contributing to project goals and wider service impact
Maintain accurate records and case notes to monitor progress and outcomes
Requirements:
Recognised qualification in advocacy, social care, or a related technical discipline
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Experience working with young people who are marginalised or vulnerable
Ability to build relationships with young people, families, and community partners
DBS check and references required
