This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of procurement strategies across both food and packaging categories, driving efficiency and value within a fast-paced and ambitious business.
Working alongside experienced leaders, you will oversee end-to-end procurement operations, from sourcing and supplier management to logistics and distribution. A key part of your success will lie in building robust supplier relationships that support both timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
As a Procurement Manager, your responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing purchasing strategies within the food and packaging categories.
* Managing the purchasing process including buying, supplying and distribution for the company
* Building strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery at competitive prices.
* Forecast demand for our products and services, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Stay up to date with changing regulations.
* Identify the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules and quality.
To be a successful Procurement Manager within this position, you'll require:
* Previous experience as Procurement Manager within a food manufacturing environment
* Experience sourcing food ingredients and packaging.
* Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (ideally).
* Strategically minded with strong analytical ability and excellent communication skills.
* Experience dealing with international suppliers and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
