These roles are focused on Court of Protection work and leading safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 (1 & 2) of the Care Act 2014. This is a fantastic opportunity for seasoned practitioners who are confident working with complex adult safeguarding concerns and legal frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act. Apply the Mental Capacity Act and contribute to Court of Protection applications and proceedings. Work closely with legal teams, health professionals, and other agencies. Make defensible, evidence-based decisions in high-risk and complex situations. Provide clear, timely and accurate recording and reporting. About You: Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England registration. Proven experience leading Section 42 (1 & 2) safeguarding enquiries. Direct involvement in cases that have progressed to the Court of Protection.
