Your new role As our new Power Systems Design Engineer, you will work across and support our Energy market in projects regarding electrification of district heating, industrial decarbonisation, grid connections of renewable energy resources, smart grids and microgrids. We are looking for a motivated Power Systems Design Engineer with UK experience to help us design the best solutions for our customers. Your key responsibilities will be: Performing electrical designs for connections at low voltage, 11kV, 33kV and above. Contributing to engineering consultancy projects, which include design review, technical due diligence, feasibility studies, and concept design. Collaborating with colleagues to highlight electrical design implications in terms of cost, regulatory compliance, and standards. These include: Qualification and relevant experience in electrical engineering (HNC, BEng, BSc or Masters) Proven experience in electrical design and cost estimation in the UK Experience with electrical design software such as Trimble, DigSilent, ETAP, AutoCAD or similar. Some Experience of project management, delivering to quality, budget and programme. Able to work in project teams with technical engineers and independently with intermittent supervision. Ability to speak and communicate effectively in written reports and oral presentations.
