Rate: PAYE £29.63/£38.78 Umbrella
Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and drive transformational change in the planning landscape? Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader for Developer Contributions to join their thriving office
About the Role:As the Team Leader, you will manage a diverse team of up to ten officers, including:
* Principal Aviation Officer
* Senior Infrastructure Planner
* Developer Contributions Principal Planners (x2)
* Developer Contributions Officers (Senior Planners) (x2)
* Planner (new starter from late September)
You will play a vital role in co-designing a work programme and service improvement plan for 2025/26, drawing from your expertise to ensure effective implementation.
What You'll Do:
* Champion the best interests of Newham's residents
* Lead and inspire a team through a period of transition
* Transform service delivery and support colleague's growth
* Provide technical guidance on planning obligations and infrastructure matters
* Manage S106 compliance casework as needed
* Participate in the recruitment of new team members
