Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to join their team. This is a critical role and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising the sites maintenance planning activities to ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of maintenance operations. Responsibilities include generating, closing out, printing, and packaging work orders, as well as planning and organising site shutdowns in a cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage detailed maintenance plans in coordination with Maintenance Supervisors.
* Create and distribute work orders and related documentation for preventive maintenance tasks.
* Plan and coordinate site shutdowns while effectively managing budgets and resources.
* Support compliance with UK Health & Safety standards through the creation of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
* Ensure maintenance plans are realistic, structured, and executable.
