Associate Epidemiology Director, Livingston
IQVIA Real World Solutions is seeking an Associate Epidemiology Director for a home-based, hybrid, or office-based role in Livingston, UK. This position reports to the Chief Scientific Officer and is part of the Center for Advanced Evidence Generation (CAEG), focusing on innovation in patient health using real world evidence (RWE), AI/ML, and global public health collaborations.
Job Overview:
1. Drive innovation by collaborating with scientific, technical, and product teams to generate thought leadership and provide epidemiologic expertise on study design and interpretation.
2. Offer expert consultation on observational study methods, statistical approaches, and AI/ML to ensure high scientific validity and result integrity.
3. Support the development of protocols, manuscripts, and study documents with critical scientific input.
4. Contribute to regional and global department leadership, supporting new business, product creation, publications, and client projects.
Requirements:
* PhD or equivalent in epidemiology, data science, or related field, with at least 7 years of experience.
* Proven leadership and self-motivation.
* Strong writing skills, publication record, and experience in scientific presentations and cross-functional collaboration.
* Ability to oversee study protocols and provide methodological guidance.
* Robust background in study design, epidemiologic methods, and interest in AI/ML.
