Do you live in Gloucestershire and looking to reduce your commute?
Are you looking to work part-time?

Beach Baker is delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's largest and most respected landowners to recruit an Area Building Surveyor. This rare client-side opportunity offers the chance to work at the heart of a major organisation, contributing to the stewardship of a diverse and historic property portfolio, many of which Grade 1 buildings.

The Role:

This is a varied and strategic role where your expertise will directly shape the future of the estate.

What's in it for you?

Manage a unique and varied property portfolio: visitor centres, offices, commercial buildings, rural cottages, cafés, and more.
Enjoy autonomy and flexibility in managing your own workload.
Benefit from a relaxed, non-corporate working environment with no fee targets.
Limited travel.
Achieve a genuine work/life balance in a part-time role.

About You:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in building surveying.
Degree in property or construction (or equivalent).
MRICS or MCIOB qualified, or actively working towards membership.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: £39,000 - £42,000 (pro rata for part-time)
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Civil Service Pension scheme - 28% employer contribution
Free on-site parking
