Electrician The post holder is expected to work in properties situated anywhere within the County of Durham Disclosure & Barring Service: this position is subject to DBS Enhanced disclosure The post holder will be accountable to the Electrical Foreman. DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: To carry out electrical work to client specification and satisfaction DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SPECIFIC TO THIS POST: Listed below are the responsibilities this role will be primarily responsible for: * To carry out electrical installation and repair works in accordance with the 17th Edition * and electrical drawings, specifications and as directed by the Electrical Foreman. * To record works carried out for record and financial purposes. * To ensure full compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and all statutory obligations relevant to projects assigned. * Maintain personal protective equipment to prescribed standards. The above is not exhaustive and the post holder will be expected to undertake any duties which may reasonably fall within the level of responsibility and the competence of the post as directed by the Construction Manager.
