M4 Recruitment areseekingexperienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for AM and PM shifts,for our client in Colnbrook.This role is essential to ensuring efficient logistics and the timely transport of goods between depots and distribution centers.
Shift &Start Times
AM Shift between02:00- 07:00 start
PM shift between18:00 23:00 start
Weekly Hours:40 hours per week
Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday
Competitive Pay Rates:
* Weekdays (08:00 - 19:00) £19.00
* Weeknights (19:00 - 08:00) £21.71
* Overtime £28.74 after working 40 hours a week.
* Bank Holidays £35.78
Key Responsibilities:
* Trunking Operations:Safely complete assigned trunking routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
* Vehicle Inspections:Conduct pre- and post-trip checks, reporting any defects.
* Safety & Compliance:Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
* Documentation:Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
* Communication:Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress and any issues.
* Professionalism:Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.
Requirements:
* Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) License
* Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
* No more than 6 points on license
* Clean DBS check
* Level D / Cargo Operative training(can be completed online)
* 5-year employment history for background verification
