Ultrasound Technician - Per Diem

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular exams.
* Ensure high-quality images are obtained and accurately interpret them for clinical evaluation.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
* Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
* Document and communicate findings to the medical team in a timely manner.
* Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
* Valid certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience in performing a range of ultrasound procedures.
* Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology and imaging techniques.
* Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work varying hours and shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in a primary care or outpatient setting.
* Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Compensation:
$55 - $60 per hour
